Who We are…

We are two people who lived in the city but yearned for grass on our feet, more outdoor activities and to raise poultry for our community in the most clean, nutritional way. We have 7 acres in southern Madison County, Iowa, we started with 3 turkey and from there dreams grew and so did the flock. We are a family of four who love to use our hands, and value clean, regenerative farm practices & whole foods. We do not use pesticides, or fertilizers and believe the flock should eat organic feed, so your food is just as clean as the land it grew on. We want to help our community enjoy nutritious turkey, eggs, chicken, freeze dried fruit and more! Thank you for giving us a chance and a visit. History

William has always had a love for growing his own food, building soil and competing in the Iowa state fair for the best sunflower, biggest pumpkin and best tomatoes. He grew a small garden for years on a 1/4 acre lot in the city. He mastered the soil, plant and produce needs without fertilizers or pesticides. Then he met a girl with a brown thumb. Heather had interest in learning but little to no knowledge of how or where to start. William and Heather met in 2018, married in 2021, built a beautiful fruitful garden in our backyard and got backyard chickens, which was the gateway to more land, more birds and a passion to share our vigor with our community in Madison County and surrounding areas. We finally had a baby in 2023 who has grown to love this chicken and turkey journey and another baby in 2024. Big brother is guiding little brother to be stewards on the farmstead. We are delighted to grow, learn and provide. Join Us on our journey!
